It passes through 102 tunnels and 82 bridges which are the reasons why it was awarded a world record for being the steepest rise in altitude by the Guinness Book of World Records. 

While inside the train, you’ll pass through the scenic beauty that you’ll appreciate. You’ll spot pine trees, oak, valleys, deodar and forests. 

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling)

Another destination that you should consider is Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling. The route follows a series of beautiful landscapes, altitudes and climate changes that will amaze you constantly. Since Jalpaiguri is a plain, the hill station in Darjeeling serves delicious tea that will freshen you up. You’ll pass by tea gardens and forests that will transport you to another world.

Vasco Da Gama to Londa

Mumbai to Goa
